ellieThe Irish Blog Awards has officially found a date and home for 2009. The Irish Blog Awards are set for February 21st at the swanktastic Cork International Airport Hotel. There’s a special rate of €100 a room or €55 per person sharing when you quote ‘Blog Awards’.

Much thanks are due to the dapper, charming and disgustingly-talented Robin Hood of Irish blogging for organising this.

    It is essential that I go … for … journalistic purposes (yes, that’s it. not the booze. never the booze). Why’s everyone booking a room so early on?

    @Marie Because the hotel only has 150 rooms. With about 300 expected and the real party continuing on into the night after the ceremony, I think it’s a wise move. If you planning to go, I suggest you book early and avoid disappointment.

    I have mine booked. FYI – You only need a laser or credit card to confirm the room. Payment will then be taken on departure.
