Thinking a lot about growing lately. Mindless musing snippets:

• Friends like stones: They hit you hard when you deserve it and give you a place to rest when you need it. Their understanding doesn’t change. Working on being a stone. You deserve a friendstone.
• Forgiveness: Redemption is a very powerful thing. It can change a spark into a fireball. Getting to the point of accepting an unvoiced apology is epic.
• Dogma: The older one grows, the less dogma they can justify. What’s the tipping balence? How can you still stay true?
• Trust: Kind of linked to dogma, really. Trust in acts, not in hearsay. These snakes eat each other’s tails. Lifelong lesson, methinks. Growing like that can be painful.
• Curiosity: Learning is being able to admit you’re wrong, being curious is staying open to it everyday.
