It appears that there’s a lot of you that come here searching for the phone numbers of O2′s stores on Grafton Street. Far be it for me to stop you from calling up to complain. I don’t blame the desperate searching for details using search engines. The O2 site is a mess.

So just to make your life easier, here are the phone numbers of O2′s shops on Grafton Street. Good luck getting through and I hope your call doesn’t get left on the counter like John’s and mine have.

    Seems to be “policy” not to answer the phone in O2 Stores – I watched staff hang-up EVERY call without answering it over a 45 minute period in a Cork O2 Store.

    What other industry would you get away with such blatant customer dis-service? No-where except in essentially a duopoly market ….

    Aarrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrgghhhhhhhh!

    Day 1: Bought iPhone from O2. Told to wait 2hrs and then come back and pick it up so they could activate the account. 2hrs went by, came back, still not ready, come back in a half hour “they” (???) did not receive the paperwork, “I will send it again”. Waited for about 20mins…told “okay, your ready to go”, the phone will be ready to use in 2hrs….2hrs went by no activation, Argggggggggh!

    Day 2: Called, spent 20mins on the phone to o2, got cut off, they called back, said it would be done in 2hrs….2hrs, one night, no activation Argggggghhhh!

    Day 3: called o2 for another 27 mins, did a 3 way conference call three times to the o2 store repeatedly no answer from the o2 store….the o2 rep again said “it will be activated in 2hrs” Arrrrrrrrhhhhhhhhhhh! still no activation…

    What the ****?

    ****ANSWER YOUR PHONES O2 STORES AND DO YOUR JOB SO WE DON’T HAVE TO CALL AGAIN AND AGAIN!*****

    I cannot believe the shower of wankers at the O2 store – they will not answer their phones!

    If i had the energy i would make a formal complaint about them!

    so i finally get through, but by accident, i rang just as she was picking the phone up to make a call, she pretended not to answer and hung up… but as i had made the cal i just held on till she picked it up again, then she says… she’ll call me right back, which she does, and asks for my mobile number to call me again in five to ten minutes to further help with my enquiry of my replacement iphone which I still haven’t received, although they still took there fees from my account for this months bill, despite me not having my iphone. has she called me, no. this is 3 hours later. but i got her name, so i will be into that store tomorrow. o2 should be ashamed of their customer service. but like the store, the corporation do not care.

    I agree that o2 must have a policy of not answering telephones at their stores. Why don’t they just say this and save everyone the frustration of trying to call them. I can never get an answer from their Grafton Street store on the published number. Anyhow, am off to Argos to get what I want and cheaper too.

    Can someone please call me regarding the update on my phone.
    I returned it last Friday week for the third time with the same problem and was assured that I would hear from you last week about a replacement phone as all it needed was a nod of approval.
    I called in on Friday evening after not hearing from you all week and was assured that someone would get in touch with me on Saturday. It is now 4.43pm on Monday evening and after leaving two phone message today I am still waiting for an update.

    This is now just becoming infuriating that I have had to use a loan phone for over a month and this is still ongoing. I have been a loyal customer both with my phone and broadband for the past 17 years and I feel this is extremely disrespectful to treat your customers in this manner. Surely as a telecomms company you should know the importance of good communication.
