Today’s the first day of the year and we’re all swimming in maelstroms of predictions. Who’ll be next international retail chain swallowed by the continuing economic monster hiding in shadows? How would a super-sized iTouch shake up the midi-tablet scene? Will the people get pulled around the back of bleachers by Mssr Ganley? 

Tracing the base of the spine of the year where Could-Bes are pondered, it’s nice to sit back and think about the all those Never-Bes too. A couple jump to mind.
