Subscribing to comments feeds

Sometimes these aren’t the sexiest feeds in the reader. Other times, they turn a grey post into a gem. I’ve got a handful in my reader.

Comments sweve from “nice job” to trolls and everywhere in between. Are you subscribed to many comments feeds? Do you get much value from them?

dont think i’ve ever subscribed to a blog’s comment feed. well maybe once or twice, though never remembered to go back and check it, then, after time, deleted it.

Subscribe to Comments wordpress plugin should be installed as standard. The other platforms should have a similar option to be emailed of new comments.

I’d usually only subscribe to post comments if there’s a discussion going on I’m interested in and there isn’t an email option available (otherwise I’d never remember to go back)

There are a few sites that I’ve subscribed to all comments for – they’d be ones that are active & generally have good ongoing discussions (as opposed to the “nice job” type ones)

I subscribe via email, never RSS. I really wish that the “Notify me of further comments via email” would be checked by default.

Subscribing via RSS is too much work, when the Subscribe to Comments plugin does the job easier and quicker via e-mail.

The only gripe I have with it right now is it’s not the best of plugins with the new comment system in WP 2.7…
